In order to be eligible for a SCHADOC doctoral fellowship, candidates must
- Not to be in possession of a doctorate or register to another doctoral program;
- Have less than 4 years of full-time research experience at the call deadline. Research experience is calculated from the time the first diploma obtained allowing to embark on a doctorate;
- Not to have lived or carried out their main activity for more than 12 months in France during the 36 months preceding the call deadline;
- Be, at the time of recruitment, in possession of the master degree or equivalent diploma which formally allows to embark on a doctorate in France;
- Have a minimum level of English proficiency equivalent to B1 (read, write, speak) based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages;
The proposal must respect the following criteria:
- Thesis must be supervised by two researchers and/or teachers-researchers experts in two different scientific domains, and at least one of them affiliated to an AMU Doctoral School
- Proposals must use the call templates, including the Ethics Issues Table
- The project proposal must address one of the four axes of the program
- The project proposal must include the CV of the supervisors
- The project proposal must include international and intersectoral secondments
To be admissible, the application must be submitted via the electronic submission system before the call deadline, be readable and printable, be complete (i.e. include the requested administrative data and any obligatory document requested in the call). Proposals which do not fulfil these requirements will not be considered for evaluation. Please read the Eligibility section of the Guide for Applicants for more details
Projects that do not comply with the compulsory layout, or that do not include all of the administrative documents requested will be declared ineligible. Submitted proposals not written in English will not be considered for evaluation and will be declared ineligible.
